Natural Beardy presents a Beardy Session with Pure Bathing Culture, the Portland based indie pop duo made of Daniel Hindman and Sarah Versprille. The pair have been touring with the band Vetiver and now, with a little help from Richard Swift, are getting ready to debut their self-titled EP on May 22nd with Father Daughter Records.

We're always excited to see what we'll find when we strip away all the reverb, synth, and electric guitar from a band. Beardy music is all about looking straight at the core sounds, the unpolished essentials. Armed with only a vintage 12-string, a shaker, and their voices, Pure Bathing Culture 's acoustic version of "Ivory Coast" is still one the catchiest, dreamiest acoustic songs we've heard.
